Pegasus32 R8 80TB 8-Bay Thunderbolt 3 / USB 3.2 Gen 2 RAID Array delivers the speed, capacity, and protection needed for large projects and backups and it is well-designed for creative professionals.

Featuring eight drive bays equipped with hot-swappable 10TB 7200 rpm hard drives, the 80TB array has a maximum data throughput of 2,700 MB/s. Its hardware-based controller supports RAID 0, 1, 1E, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60 configurations, and the fan-cooled drives are pre-configured for RAID 5. Devices connect to its two Thunderbolt 3 ports, which can transfer data to compatible computers at up to 40 Gb/s, or up to 10 Gb/s when connected to USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C devices. The ports support daisy chaining and deliver up to 85W of power to compatible laptops.

Thunderbolt 3

Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB 3.1 at up to 10 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 3 port.

USB 3.2 Gen 2

Doubling the speed of its predecessor, USB 3.2 Gen 2 features a maximum throughput of 10 Gb/s when used with compatible devices.

The Pegasus32 RAID array comes bundled with ChronoSync Pegasus Edition, which allows you to backup your data, clone hard drives, sync files between devices, and offers redundant cloud storage.
