The Steadicam M-2 is the culmination of the latest in camera stabilisation technology. The M-2 steadicam system is a lighter and lower cost high-end solution that meets the needs of any production whether broadcast, sports, events and of course, cinema.

The Steadicam M2 incorporates the Steadicam Volt technology directly into the camera top stage. This results in a shorter distance between the top stage and the gimbal and reduced weight.

The M-2 sled is highly customizable, expanding on the modularity of the M-1. The carbon fibre posts are available in multiple sizes, and a new quick release monitor mount uses an industry standard 60mm rod spacing. The sled can be configured with V-Mount or Gold Mount battery plates, as well as a hot swappable third battery mount. A standard and tilt top stage is available in versions with and without the Volt system built in. This makes the Steadicam M-2 the most modular and customizable Steadicam system to date.
