Vizrt NDI HX PTZ3 Camera (White) Overview

Vizrt NDI HX PTZ3 Camera in whit features a 20x optical zoom with 2x digital zoom capability and smooth, natural-looking pans and tilts. It can send high-quality video with almost no latency while using less bandwidth than previous NDI protocols, and it features both SDI and HDMI outputs for local monitoring. Furthermore, the PTZ3 has a mini-XLR audio connection and includes an XLR to mini-XLR adapter for use with professional audio equipment.

The camera supports tally, control, power, audio, and video using a single network cable, allowing you to use the PTZ3 with any application that supports NDI. The single-cable connection simplifies placement of the camera, as you only have to run a single Ethernet cable, and do not need to run a separate power line. The included ceiling and wall mounts allow you to mount the PTZ3 out of the way, so you can control it remotely.

Audio

Use the professional mini-XLR audio input, in addition to the standard 3.5mm line level, to deliver clean, professional-level audio directly from the camera into the NDI network. The XLR feature offers an array of connectivity options. When combined with NDI Audio Direct, the XLR audio connects to NDI receivers and virtually any audio software, providing unprecedented levels of creative flexibility.

Multicast

Optionally allow multiple destinations to receive video from your NDI | HX PTZ camera without individual point-to-point connections to conserve network bandwidth.

Preset Positions and Smooth Movement

PTZ3 offers synchronized preset starts and a new motion algorithm that helps create a natural look and feel for any production.

Single-Cable Connection

The Vizrt PTZ3 can be added to any workflow with a single Ethernet cable for HD video up to 1080/60p, audio, PTZ presets and control, tally, and PoE.

Power over Ethernet

Streamline installation and reduce cabling convolution, optionally avoiding the need for a separate power supply connection with support for Power over Ethernet via POE+.

3G-SDI and HDMI Outputs

Optionally acquire and deliver video into conventional workflows with support for 3G-SDI and HDMI hardware outputs.

Program and Preview Tally

Receive tally notifications from compatible NDI devices via physical LEDs when video output from your NDI | HX PTZ Camera is visible on Program and/or Preview.

Remote Control & Monitoring

Operate camera controls, monitor video, manage login credentials, and configure audio, video, and network settings from any compatible networked device using the Web-based user interface or Vizrt NDI Studio Monitor.

Remote Recording
