SkyPanel is available in several sizes: the S30, S60, S120, and S360. The S60 is a mid-range model, featuring a light aperture of 645 x 300 mm and accommodating the vast majority of applications. The S120 is twice as long as the S60, but weighs nearly the same. Its larger light aperture makes a great soft light even better. The S30 is a smaller, more portable version; half the length of the S60, it is perfect for on-the-go mobile applications. The S360 is the largest and brightest SkyPanel with four times the output of the S60 and almost six times the aperture size. The S360 is perfect for lighting large areas with tuneable, soft light. S30 and S60 models are available in fully color tuneable and remote phosphor versions.

Unlike other tuneable fixtures, SkyPanel makes no sacrifice when it comes to light output. SkyPanel puts out a tremendous amount of light, in a soft and uniform beam field. Brighter than a 2 kW tungsten soft light or a 6 kW tungsten space light, the SkyPanel S60 (SKY 60 , sky panel 60)has more than enough light for most applications. At the same time, the lamphead is able to perform beautifully at lower light levels. This range of illumination and color gives users an unprecedented amount of control.

All SkyPanel ‘C’ (Color) versions are tuneable. Applications for this controllability range from quickly adjusting the CCT to set the mood of a scene, to selecting the perfect green color to wash a greenscreen. Each LED light engine is computer calibrated in order to ensure unit-to-unit and batch-to-batch consistency, as well as accurate color temperatures. The SkyPanel series of lights also works in concert with the L-Series, ARRI's LED Fresnel line, perfectly.

High output is usually not associated with a fully tuneable LED fixture, but with the SkyPanel ARRI has been able to accomplish both. SkyPanel has tremendous light output across the entire CCT range. 

At over 120,000 lumens, the S360-C is one of the brightest LED soft lights on the market. Compared to the S60-C, the S360-C is more than four times brighter and maintains excellent color quality and tuneability. Consuming only 1500 watts, the S360-C is twice as bright as a 4,000-watt tungsten soft light and over three times as bright as a 12,000-watt tungsten space light. Achieving an energy efficacy of over 80 lumens per watt, the S360-C is also one of the most eco-friendly LED soft lights available while also being one of the brightest.

The Mid-range model S60, is brighter than a 2 kW tungsten soft light or a 6 kW tungsten space light. In some cases the fixture can even compete with natural sunlight; at the same time, it is able to perform beautifully at lower light levels.

The combination of the curated selection of diffusion panels, LED mixing chamber and large light aperture allows for the light to wrap around objects, eliminating sharp shadows and making for a perfect beauty light. SkyPanel perfectly mixes some 2,000 calibrated red, green, blue and white LEDs into one homogeneous beam of soft light. The SkyPanel user interface is designed to be incredibly easy to use, but also to make a wide range of controls available to the user, all at the same time. With three simple knobs, the color temperature, green/magenta point, intensity, hue and saturation can be adjusted instantly. In addition to the on-board controls, SkyPanel has always had a multitude of ways to control the light output: DMX, RDM, Art-Net, sACN, 5-Pin XLR, and Ethernet. That makes control of SkyPanel from remote control, console, web portal, smart phone and tablet possible. 

The S360-C adds another important communication method, and this one does not involve any wires: Wireless DMX by LumenRadio. Built into every S360-C, the CMRX chip allows for DMX and RDM communication without the hassle of cables and distribution equipment. Simply link a compatible LumenRadio transmitter to the S360-C and you’re good to go. Using the 5-Pin DMX output on the S360-C also allows for daisy chaining other non-wireless SkyPanels to the DMX network.

Impressive Lighting Effects. You design the vivid move.

The state-of-the-art light engines and electronics built into every SkyPanel have paved the way for a powerful new feature: lighting effects. With SkyPanel Lighting Effects users can now choose and manipulate several effects without the need for a lighting console or hours of programming. Each effect has several parameters that allow for customization of the effect to fit your needs.

The lighting effects include: candle, clouds passing, club lights, color chase, cop car, fire, fireworks, light strobe, lightning, paparazzi, pulsing, television, processing, welding, explosion and more. SkyPanel Lighting Effects changes the game for on-set lighting effect generation.

The SkyPanel was designed to be used primarily as a soft light to illuminate people. However, features were also designed into the fixture to make it extremely versatile. The diffusor panels on the front of the lamphead are interchangeable, so going from a heavy diffusion to a lite diffusion can be done in a matter of seconds.

Remote Phosphor Version. Extra brightness, amazing color.

In addition to the fully tuneable color versions of the SkyPanel, remote phosphor versions are also available. To make white LEDs, phosphors are typically placed directly on a single blue LED. Remote phosphor technology uses many powerful blue LEDs to excite a panel coated in phosphors, which is positioned further away from the LEDs.

These high-quality phosphors deliver near-perfect color rendition and outstanding light output. The remote phosphor versions of SkyPanel are roughly 10% brighter than the color versions and have a lower price point due to less complex electronics. Different color temperature panels are available, including 2,700 K; 3,200 K; 4,300 K; 5,600 K; 6,500 and 10,000 K.
