The Sonifex RB-VHCMD16 3G/HD/SD-SDI Embedder & De-Embedder with 16 Channel Digital I/O is a versatile rackmount solution that combines multi-channel SDI audio embedding and de-embedding in a single unit. It allows digital audio to be extracted from an SDI video signal and re-embedded back into SDI outputs, making it ideal for broadcast, OB, and production environments that require flexible audio routing.

Supporting SD, HD, and 3G-SDI formats up to 1080p60, the unit features a triple-rate SDI receiver with automatic rate detection and equalisation for stable video performance. Sixteen channels of digital audio can be independently routed, embedded, or de-embedded with precise level control. Front panel controls provide clear status indication, while Ethernet and serial connectivity enable remote configuration and control for seamless integration into modern broadcast workflows.
