The ARRI M90 HMI Head is a high-output daylight fixture designed for professional film, television, broadcast, and commercial productions that require exceptional light intensity without the size and weight of traditional 12K PAR systems. Positioned between the M40 and the ARRIMAX 18/12, the M90 utilizes ARRI's innovative lens-less MAX Technology reflector to deliver light output comparable to a 12,000W PAR while maintaining the compact footprint of a 6,000W fixture.

Unlike conventional PAR lights that require multiple spread lenses, the M90 features a faceted MAX Technology reflector that allows the beam to be adjusted continuously from a narrow 15° spot to a wide 49° flood using a simple focus knob. This lens-less design speeds up on-set workflow while producing a remarkably even light field and clean, crisp shadows.

The M90 supports both 6,000W and 9,000W single-ended HMI lamps, giving productions greater flexibility to match available power and lighting requirements. When paired with compatible ARRI EB 6/9 electronic ballasts, the fixture delivers flicker-free performance for high-speed cinematography while Compensation for Cable Losses (CCL) maintains consistent light output even when long head cables are used.

Built for demanding production environments, the M90 features a rugged weather-resistant IP23-rated housing, dual tilt locks capable of supporting heavy accessories, and a durable manual yoke with a 1-1/8" Junior pin. Combining exceptional efficiency, simplified operation, and outstanding output, the ARRI M90 is an industry-standard solution for large-scale daylight lighting applications.
