The ARRI EB MAX 6/9 Light, ALF CCL DMX AutoScan is a professional electronic high-speed ballast engineered to power 6,000 W and 9,000 W discharge lamps with exceptional stability, efficiency, and advanced control capabilities. Designed for demanding film, television, broadcast, commercial, and live event productions, it delivers flicker-free operation across a wide range of frame rates while maximizing lamp performance.

Featuring ARRI's Active Line Filter (ALF), the ballast improves power efficiency with a high power factor, while Compensation of Cable Losses (CCL) automatically compensates for voltage drops in long head-to-ballast cables, ensuring consistent lamp output even over extended cable runs. These technologies help maintain reliable performance in both studio and on-location productions.

The EB MAX 6/9 supports multiple operating frequencies, including 50 Hz and 60 Hz Low Noise modes, 75 Hz Standard mode, and high-speed operation at 300 Hz and 1,000 Hz. Its AutoScan function automatically selects and adjusts the optimum lamp frequency for flicker-free recording during high-speed cinematography, while AutoMan and Manual modes provide additional flexibility for specialized shooting conditions.

Built for seamless integration into professional lighting workflows, the ballast supports DMX512 remote control with RDM-compatible functionality for dimming, mode selection, frequency adjustment, and monitoring. Compatible with ARRI M90, ARRISUN 6000, ARRI Compact 6000, and other supported 6 kW and 9 kW discharge lamp fixtures, the EB MAX 6/9 is a dependable solution for productions requiring high-output lighting and precise electronic control.
