The Aputure Quick Dome 40 for STORM 80c is a compact professional softbox designed specifically for the Aputure STORM 80c LED fixture. Featuring a deep parabolic design and a Mini ProLock mount, this light modifier transforms the STORM 80c's output into a soft, controlled light source ideal for interviews, portrait photography, content creation, livestreaming, and cinematic productions. Its compact size makes it particularly well-suited for mobile productions, small studios, and location shoots where portability is essential.

The 40cm (15.7") parabolic softbox utilizes a highly reflective silver interior to maximize light efficiency while delivering smooth, even illumination across the diffusion surface. The deep design helps maintain directional control while producing a flattering quality of light that reduces harsh shadows and creates natural-looking subject illumination. Included 1-stop and 2-stop diffusion fabrics allow users to customize the softness and output level according to production requirements.

A quick-release latch system tensions all eight steel support rods simultaneously, enabling rapid setup and breakdown in seconds. The innovative design eliminates the need to manually insert individual rods, helping crews save valuable time during production. When not in use, the Quick Dome 40 folds down flat into a compact profile for easy transport and storage in the included carrying bag.

For additional control, the included 40° fabric grid helps narrow the beam spread and reduce unwanted light spill, making the Quick Dome 40 suitable for more precise lighting applications.
