The Sonifex AVN‑TB6 6 Button Talkback Intercom is a professional six‑channel talkback control unit that uses RAVENNA/AES67 audio‑over‑IP networking to provide broadcast‑quality communication between studios, control rooms, offices, or different areas within a facility. It is designed for reliable intercom communication over standard CAT 5/CAT 6 network cabling and can be rack mounted with an optional rack kit or used as a freestanding unit. Each of the six channels can be configured to communicate with remote networked units, and a configurable page function enables priority calls over standard talkback communication.

The AVN‑TB6 also features a monitor channel that can route selected AoIP audio to the headphones and built‑in loudspeaker, useful for listening to IFB feeds or other networked sources. A responsive built‑in web server and Ember+ interface allow remote configuration, firmware updates, and control of GPIO and virtual GPIO ports, simplifying system setup and management.
