The Deity Microphones V-Mic D4 DUO is a unique dual-capsule camera-mount shotgun microphone designed to capture audio from both in front of and behind the camera simultaneously. Built for content creators, vloggers, journalists, and filmmakers, it provides a flexible solution for recording dialogue and ambient sound in a single compact unit.

Unlike traditional shotgun microphones, the D4 DUO features two independent cardioid capsules, allowing users to capture the subject in front of the camera while also recording the operator or environment behind it. This makes it especially useful for interviews, travel content, and run-and-gun filmmaking where capturing both sides of a scene adds production value.

The microphone operates entirely on plug-in power from the camera, eliminating the need for batteries and simplifying field use. It includes a built-in AUX input that allows integration of a lavalier microphone or wireless receiver, enabling additional audio sources without extra recorders.

Equipped with a custom Rycote Lyre shockmount, the D4 DUO effectively reduces handling noise and vibration, ensuring clean and stable recordings. Its lightweight aluminum body and compact design make it ideal for DSLR, mirrorless, and mobile production setups where portability and versatility are essential.
