The Blackmagic Design Teranex Express is a real-time SD, HD, and Ultra HD broadcast standards converter designed for professional studios, live production, and post-production environments. It enables high-quality up-conversion, down-conversion, cross-conversion, and standards conversion with advanced 10-bit processing for superior image clarity.

Equipped with 12G-SDI and Dual Link 6G-SDI connectivity, the Teranex Express supports SD, HD, 3G, 6G, and 12G-SDI formats up to Ultra HD 4K at 60fps. Automatic format detection allows seamless integration into existing workflows without manual configuration.

Advanced image processing includes PixelMotion de-interlacing, precision scaling, aspect ratio control, and real-time proc amp adjustments. The unit preserves embedded audio, timecode, and closed captions during conversion. A built-in LCD and front-panel controls provide convenient configuration, while the 1 RU rackmount chassis ensures reliable installation in professional environments.
