The Autoscript WP-IPN Newsroom Licence expands an existing WinPlus-IP installation with professional newsroom computer system integration. It allows scripts and rundowns created within a compatible NRCS platform to be transferred directly into the prompting workflow, helping newsrooms maintain accurate and up-to-date content during live broadcasts.

Script changes made within the connected newsroom system are updated instantly in WinPlus-IP, reducing the need for operators to transfer or re-enter content manually. The licence supports multiple rundowns and displays the newsroom connection status, allowing operators to monitor communication between WinPlus-IP and the newsroom system.

WP-IPN supports leading newsroom platforms including Avid iNews, Dalet, News Wire, Newsmaker and Newstar. It also supports a range of MOS-compatible systems, including Annova OpenMedia, AP ENPS, News Works, Octopus, Dayang, Sobey, NIS4, Inception and Eidos Media.

Operators can assign a recognizable name and connection type to each newsroom connection for easier system management. The licence also enables closed-caption output functionality while retaining WinPlus-IP features such as real-time prompting preview, live script editing, multilingual operation, run-order management and networked Intelligent Prompting device control.
