The ARRI Chimera Lightbank Daylite Plus “L” is a professional large-format softbox designed for powerful Fresnel and other narrow-beam lighting fixtures. Its durable, heat-resistant construction supports compatible continuous lights up to 12,000 W, making it suitable for demanding film, television and studio productions.

Featuring a large 135 × 180 cm (54 × 72-inch) front surface and an extra-deep 120 cm (48-inch) profile, the lightbank allows a Fresnel beam to spread evenly across the diffusion screen. Its reflective silver interior helps maximise light efficiency while producing broad, soft illumination with smooth transitions between highlights and shadows.

The removable inner baffle and three interchangeable front diffusion screens provide flexible control over softness, contrast and light transmission. A recessed front offers more directional output and accepts compatible grids or louvers. An appropriate speed ring is required for mounting and is available separately.
