The ARRI AS 40 MAN, Blue/Silver is a professional daylight PAR lamphead engineered for high-output film, television, broadcast, and commercial productions. Supporting both 2,500W and 4,000W single-ended HMI lamps, the AS 40 delivers exceptional brightness and beam control, making it an ideal choice for long-throw lighting, bouncing light, and illuminating large sets.

Built using ARRI's proven TRUE BLUE housing, the AS 40 combines rugged durability with a lighter-weight design compared to previous ARRISUN models. Corrosion-resistant aluminum construction, a tubular steel yoke, and robust mechanical components ensure reliable performance in demanding studio and location environments. The fixture also features ARRI's Cross Cooling technology, which separates the electronics from the lamp housing to reduce operating temperatures and extend component life.

The highly efficient aluminum parabolic reflector works with interchangeable converter lenses to produce a wide range of beam characteristics, giving lighting professionals the flexibility to create narrow, medium, or wide illumination patterns for different production requirements. When paired with compatible ARRI electronic ballasts, the AS 40 provides flicker-free operation and smooth dimming from 50% to 100%, making it suitable for high-speed cinematography.

Designed for professional workflows, the AS 40 incorporates Compensation for Cable Loss (CCL), dual disc brakes with steel handles for secure positioning, an IP23-rated weather-resistant housing, and compatibility with existing ARRISUN 40/25 accessories, allowing production teams to integrate it seamlessly into established lighting setups.
