The ARRI ARRIMAX 18/12 Manual, Blue/Silver, International (VEAM) is ARRI's flagship daylight fixture, engineered to deliver outstanding light output for the most demanding feature film, television, commercial, and large-scale production environments. Featuring the Academy Award-winning ARRIMAX optical system, it combines the beam control of a Fresnel with the exceptional intensity of a PAR fixture, all without requiring interchangeable spread lenses.

At the heart of the ARRIMAX is a 580 mm faceted parabolic MAX Technology reflector that provides continuous beam adjustment from 15° to 50° with a simple focusing mechanism. The lens-less design creates clean, crisp shadows while reducing setup time and eliminating the need to carry multiple beam-spreading lenses. An optional spot reflector further narrows the beam to 8°–15° for long-throw applications.

The fixture supports both 18,000W and 12,000W single-ended HMI lamps, allowing productions to match available power while maintaining exceptional daylight-balanced output. ARRI's redesigned lamp holder accommodates both GX51 and G38 lamp bases without modification, while the EZ Lamp Lock system simplifies lamp replacement and minimizes mechanical stress on the lamp pins for increased reliability.

Built to withstand the rigors of professional production, the ARRIMAX features ARRI eXtreme Cooling technology, an IP23-rated weather-resistant housing, and a robust manual yoke for secure positioning. The International (VEAM) connector ensures compatibility with professional ARRI electronic ballasts, delivering flicker-free operation and smooth dimming from 50% to 100% for high-speed cinematography and broadcast workflows.
