The Aputure Lens for Spotlight Mount System (36°) is an interchangeable projection lens designed specifically for the original Aputure Spotlight Mount System. Featuring a wide 36° beam angle, it delivers broad, controlled illumination that is ideal for lighting larger subjects, creating theatrical effects, projecting gobos, and adding dramatic accents to film, photography, and live productions.

Engineered with precision optics, the lens produces clean-edged projections with faithful color rendering while minimizing chromatic aberration around the edge of the illumination circle. Its advanced optical design keeps color fringing to approximately 1 mm at a distance of 1.6 ft (0.5 m). When paired with compatible Bowens mount fixtures such as the Aputure Light Storm LC 120d II, the lens can increase light output by up to 10 times compared to the bare fixture.

Constructed from durable die-cast aluminum alloy, the 36° Lens installs quickly into the Spotlight Mount System for fast lens changes on set. It also supports B-size gobos and the Spotlight Mount iris accessory, providing filmmakers, photographers, and lighting professionals with outstanding creative flexibility for shaping and projecting light.
