The Anton/Bauer Low Mode V-Mount Battery Bracket Adapter is a specialized mounting solution designed for RED DSMC2 camera systems equipped with a RED DSMC2 V-Lock Expander Module. By lowering the position of the mounted battery, the adapter creates additional clearance for taller V-Mount batteries while maintaining compatibility with DSMC2 top handles and other camera accessories.

Ideal for professional cinema productions, the adapter relocates the battery to a lower position behind the camera, allowing larger batteries such as RED Brick and Blueshape models to be used without interfering with handle placement or camera ergonomics. The top of the adapter remains flush with the top of the camera and expander module, preserving a clean and compact camera profile.

The adapter attaches directly to the existing V-Lock battery plate on compatible RED DSMC2 V-Lock Expander Modules and select Element Technica V-Mount modules without requiring any tools. This enables quick installation and removal while maintaining a secure battery connection for demanding production environments.

In addition to battery mounting, the adapter includes two integrated P-Tap outputs for powering accessories such as wireless video transmitters, monitors, lens control systems, and other production equipment. It also passes battery voltage and percentage information to compatible RED cameras for convenient on-screen monitoring.
