Fomex RollLite Flexible LED Soft Lighting

The Fomex RollLite LED lighting system is a range of flexible LED light mats in various sizes from 2ft x 1ft (66cm x 34cm) at 75W up to 6ft x 6ft (180cm x 180cm) at 1200W. They can also be used together to cover larger areas.

With a CRI of 98, and published spectral data you can be sure you’re getting an even and accurate quality of light for excellent skin tone rendition. The Fomex RollLight RL LED lights cover a color temperature range of 2700K to 6500K. Color temperature is adjusted in 100K increments with smooth dimming from 0 to 100%.

The Fomex RollLite LED Range

The Fomex RollLite comes in various sizes and power outputs.

Control and power is provided by way of a separate ballast unit. The RL21 75W, RL31 100W, RL31 150W, and RL41 150W come with a compact control unit that includes a V-mount or Gold mount battery plate. The larger panels at 200W and above come with slightly larger ballast units, and do not have battery mounting plates. They all have 12-24V DC input, and DC power supplies.

Mounting the Fomex RollLite

All sizes but the largest RL66 come with an included X mount. The X mount is a lightweight mount with quick release pins that connect directly to the snap grommets in the corners of the light mat. The X mount holds the RollLite flat, tightly from each corner, and can then be attached to a lighting stand.

The largest RL66 comes with a 6ft x 6ft frame and a white diffusion. A pair of mounting ears are supplied so the frame can be supported by a pair of C-stands.

Fomex RollLite Softbox and LightGrid Inserts

Softbox kits are available for all the RollLite sizes up to the RL33, and there is also a separate flexible grid insert available for each size softbox.
