The DJI Ronin SC - Lightweight, Compact and Powerful

The DJI Ronin SC is a lightweight, compact and powerful handheld 3-axis gimbal for cameras up to 2kg. The Ronin SC itself only weighs 1.1kg compared to the Ronin S at 1.8kg. The result is a rig you can shoot more comfortably for longer periods of time.

There is no denying the impact that handheld gimbals have had on all kinds of productions. The Ronin S is one of the most popular handheld gimbals on the market with its impressive payload capacity and range of features. The Ronin S remains an excellent gimbal for cameras up to 3.6kg, but now there is a lighter alternative for cameras with a total configured weight below 2kg.

The DJI Ronin SC promises to be just as versatile than it’s larger brother, maintaining smooth movement though fast follow shots, sudden movements and quick changes in direction in sport mode.

A battery life of 11 hours means you don’t have to worry about power even on a full day shoot.

Both the DJI Ronin SC and the Ronin S share the same basic design, elevating the payload above the roll axis keeping the camera screen completely unobstructed. This design has now become a standard across the industry.

ActiveTrack 3.0

DJI has brought ActiveTrack technology to the gimbal for the first time. ActiveTrack 3.0 combines object recognition and tracking with AI to use your smartphone to precisely control the gimbal. This allows the gimbal to keep your subject composed in your shot while you just concentrate on camera movement.

Force Mobile

Another innovative feature is the ability to relay the physical motion of your smartphone to the gimbal. This means by moving the position of your smartphone, the gimbal will follow.

Ronin App

The Ronin App has been improved for better user experience, giving you more intuitive control over the gimbal right at your fingertips. A camera balancing guide and tutorials are accessible from the app.

Accessories
