DJI Introduces Air 3S Drone with Dual-Camera System
DJI has introduced its latest model, the DJI Air 3S, designed for travel photography enthusiasts and professionals. This dual camera supports improved low-light performance, a significant upgrade from the previous Air 3 model. It is equally important to say that it includes features like a 1-inch-CMOS camera, omnidirectional obstacle sensing, etc.
Features
- Excellent image quality
- LiDAR improves obstacle detection at night
- ActiveTrack 360 produces cinematic tracking shots
- Long battery life
- 42GB internal storage
The Air 3S camera module is larger as well because it holds a new 50-megapixel 1-inch sensor camera with a 24mm f/1.8 lens, up from the previous model’s 1/1.3-inch sensor.
Another key change on the Air 3S is its 42GB of internal storage, up from 8GB on the Air 3 — something that’ll be handy if you forget a microSD card or fill one quickly. You can transfer files to your PC either by a Wi-Fi connection or the drone’s USB-C port. The wired method now works even if the drone is turned off.
One of the other standout features of the Air 3S is its enhanced obstacle detection, which uses LiDAR for forward-facing sensors, along with infrared and vision sensors for complete omnidirectional obstacle sensing.
The DJI Air 3S offers up to 45 minutes of flight time, powered by a 4,276mAh battery.
